The latest threat, dubbed Clast82 is more potent as it can fit the virus anywhere on the device. Clast82 monitors all the infected devices as it uses a remote access Trojan.
Clast82 managed to dodge the protections Play Store and infect devices with another malware called AlienBot Banker, which gives cybercriminals intrusive access to victims’ bank accounts, as well as full control of their smartphones.
